I am interested in the evolution, systematics and biogeography of flowering plants, especially Melastomataceae and Campanulaceae. To make my life more complicated, I am also a co-developer of web tools (TOLKIN, BiSciCol and RegNum) that serve the biodiversity and phyloinformatics communities. To top this off, I am generally interested in semantic data integration and interoperability.
The BiSciCol project is making great progress and perhaps we nailed down a great way to move forward with assigning globally unique identifiers to digital objects. Read our latest news update on how we think we can 'GUID'.
